Baoshilai New Material: Honored with 2nd Prize in China Surface Eng. Tech Progress

In the recently announced evaluation results of the China Surface Engineering Association Science and Technology Award 2024, Baoshilai won the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award for its outstanding achievements in electrodes for water electrolysis. This honor not only affirms Baoshilai's technological innovation and application achievements in surface engineering but also recognizes its contribution to promoting the development of green hydrogen production technology.

 

Baoshilai, as one of the main domestic electrode suppliers, has been committed to the research and development of advanced materials engineering and the manufacturing of key components for hydrogen production. The company occupies a leading position in the hydrogen energy industry, possessing eight self-developed international advanced automatic production lines with an annual production capacity of electrodes for 600 sets of 1000 Nm³/h electrolyzers.

 

The company's R&D in electrode catalytic activity, stability, and start-stop resistance performance provides strong technical support for efficient and stable commercial alkaline water electrolyzers. Its products include BSL-1.0, BSL-4.0, and BSL-5.0 electrodes, as well as the newly launched BSL-7.0 series and BSL-L, BSL-W electrodes. The BSL-1.0 electrodes are the only domestic electrodes that have passed the DEKRA certification, it not only enhances the brand image but also demonstrates the stability of its product quality and its alignment with international standards. In electrodes with high specific surface area, Baoshilai has successfully resolved the contradiction between activity and stability, launching the electrodes free from activation: BSL-W and BSL-L series, which ensure the stability and safety of the electrodes while improving the catalytic activity.

 

This award is an affirmation of the achievements made by Baoshilai in technological innovation and performance improvement.
