Baoshilai New Material Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established as a high-tech industrial base integrating an advanced materials engineering R&D center and a manufacturing supply chain cluster of components for hydrogen energy equipment in Changshu, Jiangsu in 2022. It has an area of 16,545 square meters.

Baoshilai is a leading domestic supplier of electrodes for hydrogen production. The company has 8 independently developed, internationally advanced automatic production lines, equipped with complete equipment for production and testing. It covers the whole process of equipment manufacturing, R&D of catalysts, weaving, activation, and cutting. It can meet the supply-demand of electrodes for 600 sets/year of 1000 Nm³/h electrolyzers.

Under the leadership of an R&D with diverse backgrounds, rich experience, and a strong sense of innovation, the company has currently mass-produced BSL-1.0, BSL-4.0, and BSL-5.0 series electrodes, as well as the newly launched BSL-7.0 series and BSL-W, BSL-L, and BSL-M series electrodes. The products can be stably used under the conditions of 3000-6000 A/m²@2.0V@80℃. At the same time, it has solved many industry difficulties and pain points such as the shedding of catalyst coatings and poor resistance to load fluctuations under the conditions of 8000-10000 A/m²@2.0V@80℃. The company's newly developed elastic supporting electrode can realize the design of zero pole distance. The company's BSL1.0  electrode is the only green hydrogen electrode in China that has passed the certification of DEKRA (a world-renowned third-party professional inspection and certification institution).

Baoshilai has delivered high-performance electrodes to leading domestic energy enterprises. The products have also been recognized by the international market and exported to India, Australia, the United States, and other countries.
